The Town of Washington Highway Department is responsible for the maintenance and improvements of the Town’s public road infrastructure and the operation of the Town Transfer Station Station. The infrastructure includes 64 miles of town roads, 30 of which are dirt. The Department maintains a fleet of 21 vehicles including snowplows, graders, tractors, loaders and dump trucks
