The Town of Washington Town Board will hold their regular meeting on Thursday, May 8th, beginning at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the Town Hall, Reservoir Drive, Millbrook, NY.
NOTICE OF TENTATIVE COMPLETION OF ASSESSMENT ROLL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assessor of the Town of Washington has completed his tentative assessment roll for the current year, a copy of which is filed with the Town Clerk.
The Assessor will be in attendance with such roll at the Town of Washington Town Hall on the following days:
Tues, May 6th from 1:00-3:00 PM & 6:00-8:00 PM
Thurs, May 8th from 1:00-3:00 PM & 6:00-8:00 PM
Sat, May 10th from 10:00-12:00 noon
Appointments can be scheduled by calling 677-3949, Mon. – Fri, 9:00 AM – 12 noon, closed on Thursdays.
Written complaints with respect to the assessments may be filed with the assessor any time prior to Grievance Day, May 27, 2008, and shall be transmitted by the Assessor to the Board of Assessment Review.
NOTICE OF 2008 GRIEVANCE DAY, MAY 27, 2008
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE Board of Assessment Review of the Town of Washington shall hear and determine complaints in relation to assessments at the Town of Washington Town Hall, 10 Reservoir Dr., Millbrook . The Board of Assessment Review will be in attendance on May 27, 2008 between the hours of 2:00 PM & 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM & 9:00 PM.
No appointments will be taken; all cases will be reviewed on a first come basis.
The Board of Assessment Review will then file a copy of determination with the Town Clerk to become a matter of public record.
A publication containing procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the Assessor’s office.
RECREATION PROGRAMS
The Spring/Summer brochure is now available online. Very limited spaces are still available for the summer camp program. Registration forms may be downloaded and sent to the Recreation Department. Recreation programs are open to the residents of the Town of Washington, and to residents of the Millbrook Central School District for an additional fee. Current immunization records are required upon registration for summer camp.
