Dutchess County to Issue State of Emergency

Due to the predictions of high accumulations of snow and blizzard like conditions, Dutchess County officials are scheduled to issue a State of Emergency beginning at 5:00 am, Tuesday, March 14th.  Residents are being asked to shelter in place, and travel only if absolutely necessary.

The Town Hall, Recreation Office and Transfer Station will all be closed on Tuesday.

The Highway Department will be clearing roads.  Please do not park your cars on the road.  .

Royal Carting and Welsh Sanitation will be closed.  Garbage pickup will be delayed by a day.
